The largest welfare fraud case: The Bulgarian company defrauded £5 million.

A group of organised fraudsters has recently been convicted of allegedly defrauding the British government of over £5 billion in welfare benefits. The British Prosecutor's Office says this is the largest welfare fraud in the history of England and Wales. The five members of the group are Bulgarians.
