Five years ago, when a doctor in the trauma clinic of Ostrava University Hospital heard gunshots from the waiting room, she thought it was some kind of joke at first. It occurred to her that someone was shooting crack balls. "When the screams and wails were heard, I began to realize what was happening," recalls Jana Pometlová.
