The National Government fixed the amount of the minimum, vital and mobile wage (SMVM), which was set at $317,800 as of July 1. The rise of the salary floor was officialized by Resolution 5/2025, after the attempted agreement between trade unions, employers and the Government in the framework of the Minimum Salary Council failed. According to the regulations, the increase was established in five quotas from April to reach $322,000 in August 2025.
