The new executive-led regulation already governs the private sector and introduces changes to the compensation system, the organization of working hours, trade union activity and the status of platform workers, among other aspects of the work regime.
The regulation was formalized by a decree published in the Official Gazette one week after its approval in Congress. It introduces changes in dismissals, overtime, licenses and the functioning of trade unions.
The regulations introduce far-reaching changes in the Argentine work system, and some adjustments were made, including the elimination of articles proposing changes in the medical leave regime.
