Stoch failed to cross the 200-meter mark on the hill, where he jumped the furthest distance of his life in 2017 – 251.5 m. In the last five years he has not returned to the top, and the last season was very difficult for him.

Kamil Stoch completed the final jump of his professional career – reaching 190 meters, jumped by his wife, Ewa. The legendary athlete from Ząb concluded his ski jumping career in the final competition of the season at the Planica ski flying hill. He won, among other accolades, three Olympic gold medals, making him the most decorated Polish skier in the Winter Games.
Planica was the scene of a special ceremony. The last race of the season at the Gorišek Brothers Ski Jump was also the last in the rich career of Kamil Stoch, one of the greatest ski jumpers of the modern era. During the last jump of his career, he was greeted by his wife Ewa at the top of the Planica ski jump.
190 meters – this is the result achieved by Kamil Stoch during the second round of the Ski Jumping World Cup competition in Planica. It was also the last performance of the Polish representative, who announced his retirement from the sport.
