They were called Madeleine Raisin, Suzanne Olivier, Colette Pons... Names that evoke nothing. Members of clandestine networks or close to the resistant leader, they worked, often at the risk of their lives, to try to avoid the worst after his arrest on June 21, 1943. Peace returned, they helped to honor his memory. A posterity to which these heroines were never entitled.
