Pisa, July 1, 2026 - A 20.04-metre wing-opening aircraft, built exclusively in paper and glue, has just conquered the Guinness World Record for the world's largest paper airplane, ripping Germany from a record that resisted since 2013. It is the Icarus Project: the idea of a team of young Italian engineers, brought to the record thanks to the collaboration with the creator and spreader tech Jakidale, who financed, organized and produced it.
