On New Year's Day, the weekly changing of the flag over the Presidential Palace, as announced by the Chancellery of the President, took place for the first time. "The flag taken down from the mast will be distributed to local communities across Poland," Paweł Szefernaker, head of the President's Office, announced earlier.
Every Saturday at 11:45 a.m., the white-and-red flag flying over the Presidential Palace will be lowered from the flagpole and given to schools, institutions, and other local communities across Poland.
