Norwegian insurance company Gjensidige Forsikring reported a profit from non-life insurance operations of NOK 3,004 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to NOK 2,271 million in the corresponding period last year.

The major fire in Krokstadelva, where over 100 homes were lost, is costing insurance giant Gjensidige around NOK 100 million.

A mild summer and a year of price increases have led Denmark's fourth-largest insurance company, Gjensidige, to break an earnings record. This is evident from the Norwegian insurance company's recently published accounts for the third quarter of 2026.

Gjensidige will present its third-quarter results on Friday morning.
