The local Council of Durlești decided, on 7 April, to allocate three million litres from the reserve fund to reduce the effects of last year's fire which destroyed the blockade on the streets of Tudor Vladimirescu. In almost a year from the accident, the upper stages remain unalterable, due to emergency conditions and temporary coverage that does not provide adequate protection against weather.
