Fed key interest rate raised by 0.25 percentage point
The U.S. Central Bank's Open Market Committee (FOMC) raised the key interest rate by 0.25 percentage points in line with expectations. This is now at a level of 4.50 per cent to 4.75 per cent. As the Federal Reserve (Fed) said, with further increased inflation, they plan for new raises.
