[Nago] Next to the Okawa No. 1 Bridge on Prefectural Road No. 18 in Okawa, Nago City, the flowers of the Chinaberry tree (Meliaceae family) are beginning to bloom. The tree is over 10 meters tall. A faint fragrance is in the air, and swallowtail butterflies (Graphium sarpedon) are flitting about in search of nectar. Many buds remain, and only a few flowers have bloomed so far.
