One of the oldest hosiery factories in Romania, the one in Sebeş, is closing its doors for good in the middle of this month. After almost a century of tradition and work, hopes of a rescue have been dashed, and the sale of the factory has failed to keep it afloat. Now, almost a hundred employees are forced to look for work, while an important page in the local economy is closing forever.
