The European Commission has extended for a year the abolition of import duties for goods from Ukraine

At the same time, the EC extended until September 15 exceptional and temporary preventive measures to ban the import of Ukrainian grain to Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia

The European Commission has somewhat eased restrictions on grain imports from Ukraine, and by the beginning of autumn there will be a gradual abolish

“It was agreed to establish a Joint Coordination Platform to coordinate the efforts of the Commission, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia and Ukraine to improve the movement of goods between the Union and Ukraine.”

These cereals can still be exported to other EU Member States or outside the Union and the agreement allows them to be transit through the affected five countries.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Poland received from the European Union a draft new resolution on the extension of the ban on the import of four types of grain from Ukraine to five border countries until September 15, 2023.
