The Federal Office for Foreigners and Asylum in Vienna reported that the man already had a criminal record in Austria for violent crimes.
That 20-year-old Syrian, who attacked fellow travellers in an ICE from Germany to Vienna, is already known as a refugee in Austria for crimes. An asylum withdrawal procedure was already under way.
