According to the balance sheet published on 17 September by E-Mobility Europe, 100% electric car registrations increased by 54.2% in August in 16 European markets, reaching 30.5%, or almost one in three new cars. A score well above the 21-23 % that Transport & Environment and Rho Motion expected for the whole of 2026, on the basis of expensive fuel.
