Nedžad Grabus, who led the Islamic Community in Slovenia for 15 years and played a key role in the construction of the first Ljubljana mosque, has become the new reis ul ulema, the highest religious and spiritual leader of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nedžad Grabus was elected by a majority vote as the new reis-ul-ulema – the supreme mufti and highest religious leader of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which also includes the Islamic Community in the Republic of Slovenia.
Nejad-ef. Grabus, the former mufti of Sarajevo, is the new reisul-ulema of the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was elected today by the Electoral Body of the Islamic Community, which held a secret ballot in Gazi Husrev Bey's library in Sarajevo.
