Moldova's energy minister announced that Russian company Lukoil must cease operations in the country by November 21 due to U.S.-imposed sanctions. The company, involved in fuel storage, will halt gasoline, diesel, and kerosene supply, though Moldova seeks temporary exemptions to minimize disruption.
Washington's decision to include Lukoil and Rosneft on the black list of sanctions created by Haos in the EU, where companies are present. Romania and Bulgaria are trying to prevent the closure of Lukoil's fines before the sanctions enter into force on 21 November, including by requesting a derogation for both the application of the restrictions, according to POLITICO.
