[Nago] On the 11th, we were able to observe the blooming of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis (Malvaceae) flowers on a field fence near Oyakawa Gusuku in Oyakawa, Nago City. The flowers are characterized by their five reddish-orange petals that curl back, and the way they bloom facing downwards resembles wind chimes. The leaves are 4-7 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. The trees surrounding the field are about 2 meters tall.
