- The Dead Daisies named former Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen as their new lead singer, also adding bassist Jimi Crutchley to the lineup for a revitalized 2027 campaign.
- Hansen replaces John Corabi, who served two stints with the band spanning 2015–2019 and 2023–2026. The group reunited with former singer Glenn Hughes for a May 2026 show before Hughes announced his retirement from live performances.
- The band released new single 'Lift Me Up' to preview upcoming material. Guitarist Doug Aldrich said the track 'started off as a dead simple guitar riff' that evolved into a melodic song reflecting positively on current times.
- Extensive 2027 global tour plans include a European leg starting March 4 and a USA spring outing beginning April 30 in Lititz, Pennsylvania. The band will perform across multiple continents through May and into September across Scandinavia.
- The group is currently recording new music in the studio for a brand-new album. Guitarist David Lowy stated, "We're fired up about the direction THE DAISIES is taking," anticipating a "big year of touring ahead.
