The Montblanc City Council has asked the Catalan Traffic Service to intervene so that Google Maps stops recommending drivers to cross the town centre to avoid the delays on the AP-2 and N-240. In an interview with El món on RAC1, Marc Vinya, mayor of the town, has denounced that the browser's detours end up clogging the streets of the municipality, especially on Fridays and Sundays and during holiday periods.
