Celebrity Traitors Fans Label New Series 'the Worst' After Major Twist Ahead of Final
James Acaster said he was reluctantly a Traitor after receiving the most votes, as seven celebrities head into the final for a charity prize of up to £100,000.
During Thursday's episode of Celebrity Traitors, comedian James Acaster revealed his identity as a Traitor, ending his participation in the game ahead of Friday's final.
Acaster stated he was "made a traitor without wanting to be," continuously attempting to help the Faithfuls throughout the game at Ardross Castle in the Highlands.
At the Round Table, Acaster confessed his status, explaining he deliberately drew attention to perfume bottles used in the 'murder' of Ross Kemp to facilitate his removal.
Remaining Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny were compromised by his departure, as contestants voted to banish Acaster ahead of the series final airing on BBC One tonight.
Some viewers speculated the episode was edited around a reported panic attack as seven celebrities compete in Friday's final for a £64,500 prize pot.
