In a letter to President Karol Nawrocki, Marek Siwiec, head of the Sejm Chancellery, stated that Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty expects Constitutional Tribunal Judge Maciej Berek to take his oath immediately. The Presidential Palace is questioning the legitimacy of the lower house's election of the judge. According to Siwiec, this is not based on any legal provisions.
Sejm Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty is demanding that President Karol Nawrocki immediately accept the oath of office of newly elected Constitutional Tribunal judge Maciej Berek. A letter to this effect was sent to the president by Marek Siwiec, head of the Sejm Chancellery. Siwiec indicated in the letter that questioning the correctness of the Sejm's election of a Constitutional Tribunal judge "has no basis in any law."
The Marshal of the Sejm expects the oath to be taken immediately from the judge of the Constitutional Court Maciej Berka - stated the head of the Chancellery of the Sejm Marek Siwiec in a letter addressed to the President Karol Nawrocki.
