On Sunday after dark, the aurora borealis could appear in the Czech Republic, but the observation of this photogenic natural phenomenon will probably be spoiled by cloudy weather with thunderstorms. Petr Horálek from the Institute of Physics in Opava informed about this. The aurora borealis is an accompanying phenomenon of a strong geomagnetic storm on the Sun.
