The Apothecary Diaries Series Gets New Mystery Game for ...
Koei Tecmo’s adaptation follows Maomao as she investigates poisonings and conspiracies with exploration, evidence collection, and deductions.
During today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother, an adventure mystery game developed and published by Koei Tecmo.
Set in Tang Dynasty-era China, the adventure follows Apothecary Maomao as she investigates poisonings and court intrigue involving The False Imperial Brother before it destroys the imperial court.
According to the official Steam description, gameplay includes exploring, collecting evidence, crafting medicine, organizing information, and making deductions to solve mysteries.
The game is set to release in early 2027 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation, and Steam, bringing the mystery-solving experience to multiple platforms.
Between the upcoming game and the anime's third season premiering October 2 on Crunchyroll, fans will also see an original movie release December 11 in Japan.
