The AA launches new app to speed up breakdown rescue
The AA app improves rescue speed by sharing exact GPS locations and offers unlimited callouts with no extra fees for electric or hybrid vehicles, the UK’s most trusted breakdown provider.
- This year, The AA launched an app that lets drivers report breakdowns and share precise GPS with AA rescue teams, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
- To reduce driver vulnerability, The AA developed the app to speed rescue response and help patrols locate drivers on remote country roads using phone GPS.
- Beyond breakdowns, the app includes journey planning tools, traffic monitoring, fuel stations and EV chargers, plus service and MOT reminders, with an online demonstration available.
