Lenovo Shows Off New Laptops that Twist and Roll
Lenovo showcased innovative laptops with twistable and rollable displays plus a ThinkPad X1 Carbon earning a 9/10 repairability score from iFixit at CES 2026.
- Lenovo unveiled the ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist at CES 2026, featuring a motorized hinge for self-powered 360-degree rotation and priced from $1,649 this year.
- Following earlier ThinkPad and ThinkBook experiments, Lenovo brought over a dozen machines and multiple rollable and twistable proof-of-concept devices to CES 2026, with the Auto Twist as its third twisting laptop attempt.
