On Saturday evening, dozens of residents of De Nieuwe Stad, a neighbourhood in Ostend, held a vigil at the building where Anja Lievens died when she crossed paths with William C. Flowers were laid and candles were lit at her apartment on Guldensporenlaan. “This is a huge shock for the entire neighbourhood,” say residents.
