The Ministry of Defence on Thursday confirmed that Thailand has officially requested to change the venue for the upcoming Thai-Cambodian General Border Committee (GBC) meeting, proposing Malaysia as a neutral host.
The Ministry of Defense spokesperson admitted to requesting a change of venue for the GBC meeting to Malaysia, insisting that it is based on international principles and does not allow meetings to be held in countries with conflicting interests. He believes that if Cambodia is sincere, it will agree.
