During the First Four Days of the 7-Day Songkran Holiday Period, 3,076 People Were Arrested for Drunk Driving, with Samut Prakan Having the Highest Number.

The Director-General of the Department of Probation revealed that on the fourth day of probation enforcement during the Songkran festival in 2026, there were 1,463 cases of drunk driving, bringing the cumulative total to 3,076 cases. The top three provinces with the highest number of drunk driving cases were also identified.
