Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that he has agreed to the deployment of an ASEAN observer team to help reduce tensions between Thailand and Cambodia. The meeting, scheduled for December 22 in Kuala Lumpur, aims to de-escalate border tensions between the two countries.
