Thai man arrested for transporting M79 grenades and nearly 3,000 rounds of ammunition, ready to be sent to the Karen ethnic group

A 39-year-old Thai man was arrested at a checkpoint in Mae Sot after Mae Sot police expanded their search to find nearly 3,000 rounds of ammunition and three M79 grenades. He confessed that he was preparing to deliver them to the Karen ethnic group on the Thai-Myanmar border.
