Texas oil and gas jobs increased in May despite market turmoil, new report says
According to TIPRO’s analysis, direct Texas upstream employment for May totaled 208,200, an increase of 2,200 industry positions from April employment numbers, subject to revisions. This represented an increase of 600 jobs in the services sector and 1,600 jobs in oil and gas extraction.
