Texas Roadhouse Moving Flagship Restaurant From Green Tree Mall to ...
The new site is expected to span about 10,000 square feet, and nearly 150 employees are set to transfer, officials said.
Texas Roadhouse is relocating its original 1993 restaurant from Green Tree Mall to a new standalone site on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana, with an expected opening in mid-November.
The chain opened its first location at Green Tree Mall 33 years ago; officials called the move "bittersweet" given the restaurant's heritage, but promised to honor the original store's design in the new space.
Buffalo Construction is building the new 10,000-square-foot facility near Bubba's 33, and the nearly 150 employees currently at the mall location will transfer to the new site.
The Louisville-based parent company operates 822 restaurants in 49 states and became the largest casual-dining chain in the United States last year, surging sales 14.7% to $5.5 billion in 2024.
Executives plan to open new locations this year following a nearly 2% menu price increase that took effect in early April, positioning the chain for continued expansion.
