Tesla has declassified the documents relating to his robotaxis accidents, which are currently being tested. Two of them were caused by human teleoperators.
The sail is finally lifted. After months of radio silence, Tesla has declassified all of his accident reports for his Robotaxi service, putting an end to a voluntary information blackout.
Tesla has submitted and unsealed the original contents of all 17 Autopilot crash reports to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), providing the first detailed account of each accident. These accidents occurred between July 2025 and March 2026, all in Austin, and involved vehicles equipped with Autopilot systems.
