After the anti-Semitic terrorist attack in Sydney on Sunday, Australia's government wants to tighten the already strictly valid weapons laws. "The government is ready to take all necessary measures," Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Monday in response to the attack. Two attackers killed 15 people and injured more than 40 others. One of them was shot by the police.
Magdalena Lerch was very close at the time of the attack. The 30-year-old tells of shots, people in panic and great luck that she had had.
