Terraria Reaches 70 Million Sales as Re-Logic Marks 15th Anniversary
Re-Logic says update 1.4.6 and a cross-play patch are coming soon, while a collector’s edition and retrospective book are also planned.
- Developer Re-Logic celebrated Terraria's 15th anniversary by announcing the sandbox game reached 70 million sales, including 39.6 million on PC, 10.7 million on console, and 19.7 million on mobile.
- Re-Logic promised more content for the game, including the upcoming 1.4.6 update and cross-play, which is "on deck soon," and confirmed updates will continue "beyond" these releases.
- The team also announced a collector's edition box set and Terraria Design Works, a retrospective book developed with Lost in Cult offering behind-the-scenes insight into the game's phenomenon.
- Pre-Orders for Terraria Design Works open on May 28, with the book available standalone or in a Deluxe Edition, while collector's edition pre-orders begin in early June.
- Reflecting on the game's journey, Re-Logic stated, "This is as much your journey as it is ours!" as the community drives popularity with around half a million average daily players.
