- The IYC's Friday demonstration at the AI Impact Summit exhibition hall in the national capital involved a 'shirtless protest' with slogans against the government and the India-US trade deal, while IYC national president Uday Bhanu Chib said the group opposed `any compromise with India's interests`.
- Activists tore flexes and hurled eggs and rotten tomatoes at the Congress office, submitted a memorandum to district magistrate and city magistrate Preeti Jain, and police later brought the situation under control.
- Four persons have been arrested in connection with the demonstrations, while IYC national president Uday Bhanu Chib said the group opposed `any compromise with India's interests`.
- Amid the backlash, BJYM district president Shiv Pratap Maurya alleged that Congress workers disrupted an event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the protest was carried out on instructions from top BJP leaders.
