Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari, ninth in the world ranking, won the WTA1000 tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico, on Saturday after beating the 111st-ranked North American Caroline Dolehide.

Maria Sakkari spent a lot of time in the WTA Top 10, but the Greek athlete won only the second title of her career, after defeating Caroline Dolehide in the final of the “WTA 1000” tournament in Guadalajara (Mexico).
