ASIA NOW | On July 25, in Busan, South Korea, the World Heritage Committee added the historic porcelain workshops of Jingdezhen, China, to the UNESCO list. This is the first time a complete system of handcrafted porcelain production has been included on the list. It would be hard to find a better candidate, as porcelain as we know it today was born on the Chang River.
