- Intended as affordable shuttle services across India, the trains will cover journeys up to 300 km with frequent stops, serving students, employees, and commuters between neighboring towns.
- Regenerative braking systems prioritize energy efficiency, with the Ministry of Railways expecting the project to reduce reliance on road travel and significantly lower carbon emissions aligned with national green transport goals.
