DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) -- A child was rushed to the hospital Sunday evening after suffering a medical emergency while in the water at Dartmouth's Jones Park & Beach. Police Lt. Scott Stanton told 12 News the child got themself out of the water, but was still in distress. Bystanders administered CPR, according to Stanton, and the child's current condition is unknown. Swimmer taken to hospital after possible near-drowning at Hathaway’s Pond in Barnstable
BARNSTABLE – Officials rushed to Hathaway’s Pond off Phinney’s Lane about 7:00 PM Sunday for a report of a near-drowning. The victim was conscious and out of the water when EMTs arrived but was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for further evaluation.
