Teen hit by car crossing street in Meriden, taken to hospital for head injury
A teenager was hit by a car in Meriden on Thursday evening and taken to the hospital for a head injury. The crash occurred in the area of West Main Street and Home Avenue where officers found that a 14-year-old was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street, according to the Meriden Police Department. Teen injured in Meriden pedestrian crash
A 14-year-old was injured Thursday evening after being hit by a car at the intersection of West Main Street and Home Avenue, police said. The teen was crossing the street at the time of the crash and suffered minor injuries. They were taken to the hospital. The driver remained at the scene to and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
