Teen hacked Uber, Revolut and Grand Theft Auto maker, London jury finds
- A teenage member of the Lapsus$ hacking group, Arion Kurtaj, has been found to have hacked Uber, fintech firm Revolut, and videogame company Rockstar Games, and blackmailed them.
- Kurtaj embarked on a cyber crime spree in September 2022, targeting Revolut and then hacking Uber two days later, followed by hacking Rockstar Games and threatening to release the source code of the planned Grand Theft Auto sequel.
- Prior to this, Kurtaj had already hacked and blackmailed BT Group, EE, and Nvidia Corp.
