On Tuesday, May 5, Brookhaven Police officers responded at approximately 3:40 p.m. to a call of shots fired at 309 Georgia Ave. Firearms were discharged from the car as it passed the residence. Investigation identified the driver as Dillon Peyton, 17, of 3161 New Sight Drive, Police Chief Dustin Bairfield said. Peyton was arrested Friday and booked on charges of drive-by shooting.
