A 32-year-old man will be tried on Monday 25 August at the court in Thonon-les-Bains. He admitted to being the author of the "Free Palestine" tags on cars owned by Jewish tourists in Châtel, Haute-Savoie.
Eight cars, some belonging to members of a Jewish community, had been tagged during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Châtel. When questioned by the gendarmes, a 32-year-old seasonal acknowledged the facts and expressed regret.
