Kim de l'Horizon receives Swiss Book Prize
The 15th Swiss Book Prize goes to Kim de l'Horizon for “Blood Book.” The award was presented on Sunday as part of the Basel Book Literature Festival and is endowed with 30,000 francs (around 30,400 euros). Kim de l'Horizon, who has already won the German Book Prize this year, impressed the jury with a non-binary narrative figure “who goes back to her own childhood and explores her family history,” the reasons stated.
