At the European Swimming Championships in Paris, German Florian Wellbrock won gold in the open water for more than 10 kilometres.

After ten kilometres in the Seine, the Magdeburger will be the first European champion in the open water in Paris. Oliver Klemet also gets bronze for the DSV.
At the Olympic Games two years ago Florian Wellbrock experienced a disappointment in the Seine. Now he makes his peace with the river. The second German starter also won a medal.
Dávid Betlehem won a silver medal in the 10-kilometer open water event at the European Championships. The Hungarian swimmer is happy with the podium, although he still feels a little shortchanged.
