The supply of sustainable fuels for aviation in the European Union (EU) nearly doubled in 2025 to 1.1 million tonnes, exceeding the mandatory target of 2% set by the European Regulation, according to a report released today.
SAF was provided at 121 airports in the 27 Member States, compared to only 33 airports in 2024.
