HURLOCK, Md. – The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a residential fire that took place Wednesday afternoon. A family in Dorchester County is being assisted by the American Red Cross after a fire broke out today at their one story, mobile home on Corkran Street, in Hurlock. According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the blaze caused an estimated $15,000 in damage. An occupant discovered the fire, which began on the outside of the home near trash cans.
